El Palmar is an extensive beach, found in Vejer de la Frontera, with fine golden sand, and clear, turquoise Atlantic water. The climate and enviroment are both conducive to a fantastic break by the sea, on the Costa de la Luz in south Spain. With around 6 kilometres of unbroken golden sand and crystal clear waters, El Palmar can be found between Conil de la Frontera and Barbate/Caños de Meca, and is widely recognised as among one of the finest beaches on the Costa de la Luz.
On El Palmar beach you will find numerous bars, restaurants and small beachside bars (called locally 'chiringuitos'), when looking for a place for a delicious fresh fish meal or a refreshing glass of beer!
